I finally got around to it.
On break in, the chamber seemed a little tighter than I expected-
that would be because I forgot I had ordered
223 Wylde M4 Contour 1 in 9" Twist 16" Nitride Finished Chrome Moly Black
and not a 5.56 barrel.
You can still get them for about 150$ delivered from Midway is you are in the hoarding inexpensive parts mode.
I put a lead sled on the bench and threw the rifle into it. It is a PSA LBK Magpul rifle stock set, with PSA BCG, DelTon lower, REDX upper, and a non floated Magpul set of handguards.
Scope was one of those SWFA Optisan Mambas that comes with the mount.
Reticle is not bright enough to use as a red dot up close in daylight, very soft clicks, but does track and return,
but mount does not return to zero when taken off and on. (came on high and right sometimes)

I started off with what I thought would be my worst grouping ammo,
some of my stash of the decently hot loaded Norinco 55gr ammo. It has not been available in the US for ages, but I think it can still be imported into Canada.
This tends to run 3200 fps out of my 16 inches.
About what I expected.

Then some of my 193 pulls, at 2.250 with 24.8grains of tac. This is about a 2800 fps load in my 16 inch barrels.

I forgot to bring some of my green tip pulls. All I do for those is move my bullet seater from the 193 to the 855 mark, same OAL and same powder, primers, brass, etc. They are 16 incher 2750fps rounds for me.

No big surprise there. I have come to think of green tip as a bunch of 1 MOA ammo, and a bunch of 3 MOA ammo, all randomly together and you get what you get.

Don't blame the flyer on me, blame it on Caldwell or the ammo.

Anyways, Wylde chamber or not,
it shoots like a 200$ barrel, not a 400$ barrel.
