I want to use a 45 degree offset Picatinny mount to mount a Inforce WML flashlight on my BCM 14.5'' midlength upper. I have tried a few of the mounts available by Daniel Defense, GG&G, (pictured) 21362 and the like. All the mounts I tried hold the light at a good angle, but they also don't hold the light far enough forward to get my support hand where I want it. Anyone know of a quality, lightweight, 45 degree offset Picatinny rail mount that will hold a small size light farther forward (towards the muzzle) than usual?

Sounds like you want an HSP Thorntail/Thorntail SBR.

ETA: Correction, Thorntail Offset.

I agree. I just looked at their site and it looks like they have what youre looking for.

I did some research and I see the HSP Thorntail offset mount is exactly what I need because it does something no other similar mount does- the part of it the light attaches to can be adjusted in different positions, so the light can be mounted further forward or back as needed. Thanks for the info..

There is no better mount from no better company.
