I have a PRO- I am not asking/worried about battery life here as I have spares. But I am wondering how long these can stay on before the reticle burns out (for lack of better words)

I feel like I read somewhere that this can happen (granted talking over 10 years). Not concerned here; just curious.

Thanks

There is no reticule, rather an LED emitter. LEDs are typically very reliable; MTBF for smaller LEDs are almost measured in decades.

I'll second the M4s mine has been on for last 4 years plus. I've not seen or heard of Aimpoints failure without catastrophic situations. .simunition to the glass ect. The Army was still issuing initial vers. "M68s" Aimpoints in 09 now probably being pushed down to support /training units though. These was made in 90s .
Cheap LEDs will fail in months to year(s) good quality ones last. OT "drift" Surefire LED conv. for P60/90 I have still working "2003" I've got 2 and a few Maloff LEDs in use over 9 years. Aimpoint is more likely to be only using high quality ones.
