I just got a aimpoint pro yesterday and I went to radio Shack today and asked for the dl1/3n or 2L76 and they give me cr1/3n will they work ?

CR1/3N is equivalent to 2L76 and DL1/3N. Will work.

BTW "DL" is just designation used solely by Duracell. All other manufacturers use generic "CR" designation. Probably Duracell wants to confuse people and let them insist on buying "DL" (assuming they need this specific designation), bringing them more $.

Ok thanks I just didnt want to put the wrong battery in my sight and short it out or something

Those batteries can get to be pretty expensive, good thing Aimoint has developed a way to make them last so long in their units. You can leave your PRO on the medium setting for at least a year and a half on a fresh set of batteries. Actually longer, I use the year and a half reference for me.


I just leave it on the lowest setting so it most likely last longer then there 30,000 hours on setting 7 .
