Those RMJ's are beasts. Personally I wish the beard was a tad more pronounced but they are certainly one of the best fighting hawks money can buy.

I'll drool over here in quiet now.

It frustrates me to no end that I can't think of a legitimate purpose for me to have one. There is literally no scenario I can envision in which I could possibly justify strapping one of these to myself and running around feeling awesome.

But man, I really like tomahawks.

Wait a minute, I live in the Cascadia Subduction Zone. Earthquake rescue tool? Take that, visa bill!

Ooh I like the way you think. Hmmm Arizona Hinge Plate Zone? Upper Sonoran Flood Reservoir?

Guys, I do the same stuff. I may have to save someone that gets in An accident so I better buy one. I bought this one and I have no reason to own it except destroy some wood or crap around the yard once in a blue moon. Its so well made btw. Very light. Took about 5 weeks.

Well, it's sure a great looking machine. 5th pic down, close up of the head or "bit" as we call it up here, really makes it hard to leave my CC in my wallet.

Haha. I do what I can. $425. They quoted me it would ship the 15th. I received it the 16th. A beautiful thing

Not sure what I own mine for either but I feel warm and fuzzy every time I crack the safe and see it there. On a functional note though, I cut mine down right below where the tang ends. Took appr. 3-4 inches off it and havnt regreted it. Feels more nimble in my hand, betyer balanced and fits in a pack better. Loosing the pommel was a non issue for me because there is nothing the pommel can do the hawk itself cant. The only down side is loosing the lanyard

They make the S13 Shrike now that is shorter handled by hey must have been of the same mind as you. That and the Jenny Wren are their smaller faster models. I want!!!

Somehow I can just *SEE* you running aroun the yard looking for stuff to chop through.... because I would be doing the same thing.
Only it would be worse, because I actually have a couple old cars that are just begging to be attacked with such a high quality instrument.....

I may have to bite the bullet and try one of CRKT's hawks- no RMJ, but I hear they're decent for the money, which is WAY more in line with my budget.

Man I'd love to wreck one of those cars you have. This thing was outside my budget, I'm irresponsible.

I am constantly trying to come up with some sort of justification for these things. Cool yes. Bulletproof, check. Made in the USA, check. Just dont need it....I wish that wasnt the case. These things are beasts.

Well the history of the tomahawk is so awesome. A true american weapon, we didnt have bayonets we had functional fighting/utility tools. The initial call to battle against the britts said bring you rifle, your knife and hawk. So when those tyrants around the world see our soldiers it the most futuristic gear but sporting an age old american bad ass tomahawk I hope it strikes fear. I have one.

lets get boned up for tomahawks- watch patriot and last of the mohicans lol :dance3:
