I need an optic mounting solution that uses the same height rings as an ARMS 22 Med high.

Would like a throw lever system but what else is good??

This is for an optic that is going on a B&T rail atop a g3 clone.
The ARMS mounts that are on there now are doing the wiggle thing that some of the ARMS stuff likes to do.

Have you checked out LaRue?

Check out American Defense (a site sponsor here on M4C). They make some great stuff. http://www.americandefensemfg.com/

What optic are you mounting on your G3 clone?

The optic I am mounting is a Leupold MK 4 3-9 MRT.

I have a bunch of Larue stuff already and I called them first but they said that they didnt make any rings that were the same height as the ARMS 22 med.

I have not called ADM yet, prefering to ask the gurus here and hoping someone had a set of ARMS and something else to compare.

My Father has a PTR91 with the B&T rail as well. I ordered a set of the LaRue rings to mount a Nikon Tactical 2.5-10x but they were not high enough to get it all set up properly in terms of eye relief, and clearing the rear sight, etc. He had to go with the ARMS rings as well. His are holding up so far, but he doesnt shoot much.

If you are dead set on running that scope on your G3 clone, then I think you are stuck with the ARMS rings, or if you are willing to give up the QD feature, there are a bunch of high quality fixed rings available that will work. Good luck!

While I'm not that familiar with the G3 clones, have you looked into the possibility of a quality set of non-QD rings mounted to a QD riser like the LT-101 here (http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=28)?

Nick,
I think that maybe Your dad had issues due to the 50mm objective lens?? Dunno.

The riser and ring combo would be a good option.

What non removable rings are worth the $$ ??
