just got new 6920 moe FDE I thought the sling bracket came out the side of the FSP.and not the bottom.

That changed to being on the bottom for the MOE versions. With that handguard, the sling mounted on the side doesn't fit properly. Pretty sure it's now the norm on all 6920 models.

The older (Pre-2013) had those attachments, along with a carry handle. The new 6920'a do not.

You can buy it separately and put it on;mine didn't come with one but I installed myself,it's a regular 6920.

The sling mount works with the MOE handguard just it doesn't fold all the way back as the HG stops it,or I've heard you can just flip it over so it folds forward instead.
