Tight sling affect accuracy

Hey I noticed on my midi bcm when I sling up and make it really tight my point of impact shifts to the left an inch or so (goes to the left because thats the way the sling is pulling) and I have my sling on the front sight block/post sling loop. Normal huh?

At what distance are you seeing one MOA shift?

Well you know the front sight block/sight post. It has the sling loop attached underneath. Thats how the rifle came stock with the front sight post/sight block. Ya I have a Vickers Blue Force Gear sling on that loop and if I sling it up and tighten it I notice change in p.o.i.

The concept you want to research is "free floating barrel".

ETA: And that does not mean you should create another thread asking what "free floating barrel" means. It means do some web searches and read a lot more than you post.
