I was looking at some Leupold prw.

What size do I need? or do you have any other suggestions?
For cleaner lines, I would go with these. Call them directly to see if they make them for the rifle, you could just pull off the bases you have. if not, look at the rings they offer, not as wide or sharp edges like the leupolds

I dont think they make any for my rifle :/
EGW makes good rings for your application.

So what size do I need?
So what size do I need?
What size is the objective lens on the scope? That will determine height.
Does the scope have a 1" or 30mm tube?

40 mm objective. 30 mm tube.
40 mm objective. 30 mm tube.
The EGW rings may be a little too low for your application. The Leupold rings you found at MidwayUSA should do the trick. The high rings for a 30mm scope body should give you roughly 0.036" clearance between the bottom of the objective scope bell and the barrel.
You don't want the scope or front scope cap to touch the barrel after installation. If you are considering installing Butler Creek scope caps, you may have to find a higher set of rings.
I put a set of Weaver steel rings on my Savage MKII .22lr and they work fine. If I do my part, the rifle will hold under 1MOA at 200 yards with good ammunition.
I use EGW rings and bases on all of my other bolt action rifles.

Thanks!
So I need high and not medium in the leupold?
Can you tell me how you calculated that?
I got on the Mueller website to find the objective bell diameter, then the Midway USA website to check the ring height. Mueller indicated the scope bell diameter was 2.07", which is roughly 52.56mm. MidwayUSA gives a measurement from the base of the ring to the bottom of the scope tube, which is 0.480". Given these measurements, I made calculations from the center of the scope tube.
I subtracted 15mm, half of the 30mm tube diameter, from half of the scope bell diameter and came up with 11.28mm, then converted it back to 0.4441 inches. This tells you how much of the scope bell that will hang below the bottom of the scope tube. MidwayUSA indicated the high rings were 0.480". 0.480" - 0.4441" = 0.0359" or roughly 0.036".
If the objective bell hangs forward of the receiver when you set the scope up for proper eye relief, you will have a little bit more clearance.
I have had good luck ordering rings this way when I could get specific measurements from the vendors.
Hope this helps.
