I have the opportunity to purchase a SCAR 17S before registration starts in my state in 2014 but I'm lacking the funds. I hate to do this but putting my current project on hiatus and selling this barrel should leave me with just enough to make the purchase ASAP.
The barrel for sale is a Lilja AR barrel in their M4 diameter chambered in .223 w/ a Wylde chamber and a 1/8 twist. It has been bead blasted by my bud at Badger Ordnance and it came out pretty good. Like the title says there has been 0 rounds through this barrel and has never been installed on a rifle. It has always had a cover over the threads and crown so no need to worry about damage there. *READ* There was a small rust spot on the barrel extension of the barrel but I used a thin coat of naval jelly and that cleared right up. It did leave a patina on the extension and on a portion of the barrel near the extension. A polish would get rid of this but I personally wasn't going to get rid of it anyways so it's still there. The portion of the barrel near the extension is small enough to be covered by a barrel nut so you won't even be able to tell.
This is the exact barrel used by the SEALs in their recce rifles so if you're trying to build a 100% correct recce rifle or just looking for a super accurate barrel this is for you.
Since this is brand new, un-fired and had work done on it (bead blasting) I'm going to set the price at what Lilja sells the barrel for:
$465 + shipping

You're basically saving ~$35 bucks on a bead blasting job.
