outd?oor range in New Orleand area

Hi all,
visiting some friends in Nola, looking for an outdoor area to take 'm shooting, nothing too involved.
Seem to be unable to find much up to date info on line.

Any suggestions?

Honey Island Shooting Range in Slidell. Although, you will need some type of WMA permit (a $2.50 cane pole permit will do). $6 to shoot all day; only open Fri-Sun. http://www.honeyisland.org

There is also Tallow Creek in Madisonville. However, last time I went there it was $10/hr, and they wouldn't let me shoot FMJ.
