Gentlemen,
So, I was at a guys house the other day, and, as always, the conversation led to guns/firearms. The mandatory tour of the safe revealed fairly standard fair with the exception of the following AK. I’m very much not an AK expert and my only real exposure has been plinking and the posts of Templar.
From what I can tell, this rifle is an early Chinese MAK90 import before they were marked Norinco with a “Yugo” receiver (I think… told you I’m no expert!). But, I am somewhat concerned that this rifle has the contraband “three hole receiver”. I’ve done a bit of research and looked at a bunch of pictures, but I can’t conclusively tell if it is or not.
I would greatly appreciate some help identifying this rifle. I’m not looking forward to telling him if it is an illegal firearm. Thanks!
