Can anyone help me ID this rail? I bought the gun used and can't seem to figure out what it is. I can take a better pic if needed.

Not sure. It is similar to their two piece but I don't think that's it. Unless it's an older model that no longer on the site.

Sure looks like a Yankee Hill from circa 2007.

The rail jam nut and flathead screw are what gives it away for me. It looks like an older one as mentioned. Discontinued at midway in link below

I just did a image search with Google and came across exact rail in first couple of pics.

Yep, that's it thanks. I thought the rail was heavy, the midway link says 18.2 oz for the 9" model. I have the 12".
Now I have to figure out how to take this thing off, hopefully don't have to buy the yhm wrench to use one time.

No, you don't need the tool. Secure the upper receiver properly in a vise, remove the anti-rotation slotted screws, get a strap wrench and spin the rail counter clockwise. A standard AR15 barrel nut tool (prong-type like USGI or PRI) will work to remove the barrel nut. Install whatever other rail/handguard you want and roll on. The only thing the tool is really needed for is locking the jam nut to hold the index during installation, but when removing, you can just unscrew the rail off the front. With the newer ones (like you have) the slotted screws holding the index make the jam nut much less of an issue.

Thanks for the advice. I got the rail off, just need to get a wrench for the bbl nut.

I just noticed you're in Georgia, whereabouts? I can do it for you. I'm in Northeast ATL metro.
