I didn't know about that option. Thanks! I wonder if you require an exceptionally tall front to make that work?

No idea. All the Bo-Mars I've used have been the buried variety

Dawson makes one: http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80001772-1388518377

Requires a .335 front.

I've used Dawsons and Meprolites. The Dawsons have a pretty tight notch, but a machinist can open it up. The Meps have a very generous notch, but the front that comes with it is too broad for my taste. I replaced it with a 0.125" Ameriglo blade.

You'll definitely need a taller front blade with either one.

Neither one is as comfortable in concealed carry as a typical fixed rear sight. A holster with a full-length sweat guard helps, but you may need to get a custom rig to get something between the rear blade and your skin.

Once you try adjustables and get a good 25-yard zero, you'll have a very hard time going back to fixed sights.
