7.62X39 Federal Fusion Diameter?

Hello. I was hoping someone with a micrometer and some Federal Fusion in 7.62X39 can tell me if the bullet is .308 or .311? Im having a hard time finding any info on the net. This seems like a viable hunting/SD round that I would like to try.

I guess you'll have to buy a box an pull a bullet to find out! Federal don't even list that spec on there site!:rolleyes:

I've never known federal to do something as stupid as using 308 for 7.62x39. People I've talked to have had positive things to say about them. I know a couple people who have taken white tales with them using AKs and sks's.

I quit reloading 7.62 X 39 years ago but all of the bullets I used were .310.
