Just 5 years ago this video never would have been possible without million dollar HD cameras, and a helicopter to provide the aerial platform.

With throwaway HD cams so cheap everyone can buy them, and new robotic/remote platforms that capture never before seen camera angles......one's creativity, and determination is the limit to what's truly possilble in the future world of action film making.

Be inspired.....dude made this w/ a GoPro, DJI Phantom quadcopter, and store bought editing software. $500 to make in actual cost.....priceless footage in return!

as a photographer and someone that owns a post production company :) the hard part is the creativity :) and sadly the acceptance of mediocre stuff these days by so many ?

footage is OK but nothing great and compared to film makers it sucks ? not being harsh just real :)

I hear ya about leveling the playing field cause I have seen go pro stuff that is not so jerky etc..

for sure the equipment is not in question anymore and can be had by anyone :) which is great cause some really cool stuff is coming out from some real creative types :)

I would of course have to have to be personally involved in the vetting process of female talent, and I might record some test footage for later evaluation but for the commercially released product I will be directing only and I'll find some non skeevy guys who don't look like meth addicted, tattooed biker trash for the male talent who wish to be volunteers and participate in my "art" project.

Awesome. I view it a little differently. This new tech will also allow those with a creative vision but lacking funds to see their project come more inline with what they had in mind

It's not the bow, it's the Indian. That said, removing barriers to entry makes me happy, regardless if it's cheap technology or anything.
