I really want one of these for no apparent reason than just to have one...and an original.

Looks cool. Where's the vid?
I have such a sentimental attachment to the .30 06. An American classic cartridge!
Their classic version is closing in on $4k - I wonder what this version will cost?
I almost bought one of the classic BAR versions in 2002 or 2003 but got a Barrett 99 instead. I probably would have shot the BAR a lot more than the Barrett.
i prefer the vintage looks of the original BAR, I'll pass especially of the price is in the 4K range.

It looks cool but the Classic is way sexier!

Saved me some typing.

+1 Interesting idea though.
I'd like to see a Colt Monitor made again.

What is the difference between the two?

Mostly: Pistol grip stock, shorter barrel (~18" as I recall), no bipod, and lighter weight (a little over 16 lbs?).

It's interesting to say the least, but what is the price going to be? Another 3K plus rifle isn't going to be that great

Would love an original BAR in semi auto format, but don't see the appeal of this new version.
I see an expensive way to create a pile of dead hogs when I see this rifle. Maybe I'm weird.
