How did this guy get elected?
"extreme conservatives" – that is, people who are pro-life, understand the clear meaning of the Second Amendment, or wish to keep marriage as it has traditionally been defined – "have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are."

Oh,,yea,,we are "really" Lucky to have such a GREAT Emperor to rule our state !!! :rolleyes: This guy is way the hell over the top,,dam I stopped doing drugs 25++ years ago,,its obvious this guy never stopped !!! There are tons of Good People in NY,,but when Upstate is controlled by the City its pretty tough to get anything good going !! Hopefully he really bit off more than he can handle on this one !!!

Realistically cuomo can run his trap to make his liberal spend all gay friends happy. Hes utterly
failed with the SAFE Act and has no way to remove us gun toting conservative traditionalists from NY. But we do have the power to remove him.

I agree there ! We DO have the power,,,,I just hope that all the people come together and try and make this wrong right ! NY can be a great State,,we just need to get off our ass & take it back,it will be a tough battle for sure !

Your 100% right on that. I don't believe that states is at that point yet though. Maybe after DeBlasio turns NYC into a third world with his make everyone equal b.s. more will see how far we've strayed from what is right. I know upstaters already know this but we are a minority right now. Luckily we are the ones most prepared for the turmoil that is to come.

The problem is, people will still love the 3rd world created by liberals, and just snidely say, "Well, the ONLY reason that things are this bad is because corporations are exploiting everything, and there's so much racism and homophobia, and, and, and...imagine how much WORSE things would be if a conservative were in office..." Also, brainwashing and moral relativism started out by claiming that there was no intrinsic right and wrong, and that the ends justify the means, and that nothing is really bad unless it fails or brings shame and ruin upon yourself. But the relativism has gone beyond that. There's more good and bad, or even succeeding and failing. So a city is crime and poverty ridden, losing industry, and being reduced almost to a 3rd world nation. Is that bad? No, they would say, it's just a different culture. The problem is not the crime and poverty; the actual problem is that outsiders are too close minded to understand and accept the culture of the city. There's no success and failure; there's only different perspectives of success and failure.
Armed with all this, liberals keep winning in these cesspools.
They're certainly an inclusive bunch......as long as you agree with them on everything. The "discrimination", they claim to despise, right there in print for you all to read. He's not even clever enough to keep his yap shut.

Indeed, I have no place in NY...and don't really care until their mayors and governors attempt to change the rest of the country in their misguided attempt to assure there's no place for me anywhere.
Watch for Cuomo and O'Malley to throw their hats into the presidential circus in 2016.... I'm taking bets if anyone doubts me. Cuomo like many New Yorkers is delusional and genuinely believe that liberals everywhere want to be like NY...that they simply lack the leadership to make it so. They don't and he'll be laughed out of contention. O'Malley is a drunk, which is actually probably the only thing there is to like about him.
New Jersey is racing to catch up with New York on stupid gun laws. There are no less than 20 lined up for the new session. Worse than the 20 from last year. Assault weapon bans based on one feature, 7 round mag limits. You name it. Every year it will get worse. As soon as Christie leaves office, the carnage will begin.

Just one reason why I keep repeating that the one and only road back to liberty and freedom is to completely tear down every single last brick and stone of the lunatic leftist (socialised medicine, redefining marriage, denying the right to life, denying the right to keep and bear arms, redistribution of wealth, etc) agenda and smash them all into dust.

Umm...I believe many ARE already leaving NY in droves.
I feel the same way about liberals in Texas. Why must you screw up OUR state....you have plenty of other blue states to choose from. States already run by total leftists. Go pick one and live there and leave our state alone.
There should be blue states and red states...why should we be forced to live together and butt heads over everything 24-7? I am tired of that nonsense - it is getting us nowhere.

I would love to leave NY, being that my vote really doesn't count as much (being a extreme conservative), the only thing they'd miss of me is my tax dollars. To fix that they'd make the liberal, lazy hoards that live in the cities believe that those upstater's that make $40000 a year are now the 1% ers, and lobby to have anyone who makes more than that pay more taxes. Two years from now, anyone who makes more than $25000 is keeping the poor, liberal masses down. What I cant fathom is that these liberals don't see the fact that the more people you force into these socialist utopias, the less there is for each liberal. The whole reason for believing in socialism is that you want more and are too lazy to try to get it on your own. Now you bring about this hope and change, everyone's in the poor house, who's left to blame. Yourself. Like I said in an earlier post, the state and the country as a whole is not there yet. When it does get that bad, I believe us extreme conservatives from around the country will be the last ones standing. Regrettably its going to be very hard for a lot of deluded people, hell its gonna be hard for those of use who already realize its going to happen. Brickboy240 is right, Red states and blue states. Then we will see what form of politics produce the best results. I cant see staying as one country though with such different political viewpoints. We are barely one country now. Personally I like the Dakotas for my next stop in life. I would say Texas, but with so many people flooding there, I concerned that those migrating are going to want to change Texas to what they hoped it would be, in the end causing more trouble.
If NYC banks were not bailed out and stimulated on the backs of middle class workers they would have bigger issues to worry about in NY than size of drinks, homosexual unions, and recruiting middleschool girls into abortion mills.

I saw the TV commercial today for NY trying to attract business - "come to NY and no taxes for x years"...but isn't low taxes a CONSERVATIVE strategy?....

But your employees will pay 5-8% in state income taxes in addition to federal income tax. Heaven forbid you move to NYC where you get to pay another 3% income tax, and sky high property tax rates.
Not in a million years will I move there shy of seven figures(after tax) and significant perks. So unless Goldman comes calling, I don't see it happening. Cool place to visit friends living in broom closets, see a show, and eat great food though.

Alinsky's children are all in. What a mess for our children if this keeps up. Hope is still there in pockets, but will it be enough? I just don't know, but at the same time, I haven't lost faith. Sol1777, you stay put, because your state is getting probably just as much constitutionalists as libs with the lower taxes & right to work laws. Remember these people are pushing their beliefs on others & a ton of people are just now starting to get felt up. Let's just hope they feel just a little uncomfortable about it.

Yea,,I hear ya guys,,it is a friggin mess !!! I even have a good buddy that is a Diehard Dem. and he HATES Cuomo,,he even says he is destroying the State/Jobs/Schools,,etc,,so I guess if even the "smart" Dems are getting fed up,,it could swing in our favor eventually !! Its the 47% that will NEVER change or give up there "Free Lunch". My Daughter is in Texas and I would love to move,,but jobs/Family,,etc makes it tough !!! We just need to keep fighting the fight & maybe our Kids,Kids will be able to live Free !
My wife and I have made an official decision. Unless I am offered a 6+ figure salary in the next six months we will be out of this state by May of 2015. We're ****ing done with this Neo Fascist experiment at social engineering. I grew up in Wyoming, my wife Oregon. We don't need The State to hold our hand for every little difficulty that comes our way. I've had more first responder time on the ground as a Wyoming native just because I was one of the "only ones there" then any citizen I have met in this state. My friend who is serving on a police force for one of those three or four Mid Hudson Urban environments that keeps popping up on "worst places to live in America" recently told me that the NY Post made a big deal out of some death that happened in NYC because the first responders there took a whopping 4 minutes to get to the call. NY Post says that's to slow!!!
That's the mentality of NYer's. They want the state up their ****ing ass all the time so they can be safe. I don't know if it is PTSD from 911 but they literally bend over and take it when it comes to their constitutional rights, and we're out of this ****ed up social experiment that is The Failed Empire State.
When I was young and stupid I once sat on the edge of a large run off ditch in a jeep with two wheels touching the ground for 7 hours while I waited for the Sheriffs to respond. I knew the captain of Search and Rescue, he helped raise me and he will never let me forget that night because he was gearing up to respond to my ass when one of the deputy's finally reached me. NYers would cause an international crisis, and the stock market would drop a million points if one of their own had to sit in an unsafe situation for more then fifteen minutes without the Nanny State and Lord ****ing Cuomo flying in on his Unicorn riding a saddle made of 1000 dollar bills to rescues the poor soul who happened to be stupid enough to almost drive off a cliff.
I have one life line hanging from the toilet bowl that is NY state and I am going to jump to it, tie in, and ride it to freedom.
You all can either sink or swim the **** out of this shit storm of a state, but I suggest you run. Tomorrow when you drive to work, if you need convincing, just look, pay attention to how every home around you is falling into the ground. Every city in this state is dying. Every building is falling apart. Energy costs are through the roof. The schools are indoctrination camps for Neo Liberal politics that are nothing more then pro rich and anti worker. If your car so much as farts you'll go to jail. If you so much as have 8 round vs 7 you'll go to jail. The state is doomed. It is the perfect definition of the word "empire", NY rose quickly to prominence and then it got cocky, it became over policed, it over extended itself and it failed. Just like every other Empire in the history of man. NY is The Empire State and the United States of AMerica was never meant to be an Empire so I suggest running like hell.
I'll see you all West of the Mississippi in the coming months.
