View Full Version : Detroit Auto Show 2014
Anyone else in town for this? I'll concede I had zero interest in involving myself with anything GM related, let alone making the pilgrimage to Detroit of all places but the opportunity arose to go and the stay thus far has proved uneventful lol.
That and I think it's around -10 outside presently so I haven't ventured outside much.
I'll update with pics at the conclusion.

And for the record I think the Chrysler 200 girl was the most attractive at the show.. bahaha..

Did you get over to the MGM Grand to see the exotics? I saw coverage on NBC today, they hovered over the Challenger girls quite a bit. Always lots of eye candy at the show.
BTW, congrats on getting out of downtown unscathed - I assume you left before dark?

???? News to me about the exotics. I'm staying at the courtyard right across from the GM building. Presently at Tom's oyster bar next door. So we're downtown after dark lol

That new F150 looks might appealing to me.
That 2015 GT is drool worthy. I'm tempted to trade in my '13.

It looked good for the most part. I'm not sold on the 911'ish rear end though. Or at least that's the vibe I got from it. The Porsche 918 was ridiculous though, good lord.

Not speaking for him, but personally, I'll never own another GM product. Used to buy them out of a misguided sense of patriotism (buy American) even when I knew they weren't up to the Japanese competition. After the bailout, and GM leaving the taxpayer with the bill, closing plants they said they wouldn't, and using the funds to expand in China, they'll never get one more dime from me. Them or Chrysler.
F150 baby....Light weight aluminum just like an AR15 lower.

My wife would give my left nut for a Raptor. Who am I kidding? She'd give both my nuts. :D

Pretty much. Although if I had to buy the new Zo6 I probably wouldn't be all that tearful about it.
