Selling guns for a sport bike is a huge mistake. Just look at 1 year old bike values.

Besides, everyone knows Yamaha is better. :D

Oh I love the R6 but I don't know if its "better". I don't think they are as stable as the others but they are a little smaller and thus I find them more comfortable. If I was to buy a 2006 it would probably be an R6 with the 80's style paint scheme. SEXY!

Seeing the new RRs, R1s & R6s, ZX's and of course the Gixxers, in this year's collection there isn't one I'd not want. Never use to be that way. They're all so stylish that it makes me wish I still had my 2003 R1. I did however sell a few of my guns when I wanted a mountain bike really bad. Something, to this day I will always regret. One of the rifles I sold was a new Colt AR-15 A2 that when I bought it brand new was $750 CDN.

M4arc...

I used to have a 2001 CBR F4i 600. I loved every damn minute of it, but I had to wise up and buy me that truck I have now.

I paid a hair over 8K for it brand spanking new, sold it for a bit over half. It was a pretty bike. Black and Silver... I cry when I pass the Honda Dealership over by the WaWa, that's where a bought my baby.

I have done 120mph down Rt.168 with her! She was fast...

Ahhh... The memories...

ETA: If you do have that firestorm of a sale... LMK...

I think that's the reason why I like it so much...I love the new Gixxers but deep down I'm a Honda guy.

I'd like a CRF 250. Maybe 450 is they're light enough for my srawny butt to throw around.

So far it's not going real well.

I've got a 2003 Honda CBR600RR - Red and Black.

It's actually got under 1000 miles on it and only been above 10K RPMs a couple times - never abused.

I got it in the middle of a busy work year in 2003, rode it as much as I could in 2004, and had my baby boy in 2005 so I've had no time and I'm finally going to have to let the CBR go. I have to take too much stuff back and forth to work and now a child.

My CBR has never seen water, never down, and properly stored and cared for.

I'm really being slow about listing it for sale. It will be the first time in 13 years that I haven't had a sport bike so it's just....not wanting to let go.

Can't put a car seat on a CBR though.

Funny you bring this up, as I'm dying for a replacement for my Triumph Daytona 955i...

I prefer liter bikes, though...;)

I sold my heavily modded 2002 ZX-9 about a year ago. I could tear it up on that bike. I went through the engine and suspension and used to delight in running away from the "Faster" literbikes on the track.

That being said, I'm going to either score the new CBR-1000R, or a Gixxer 750 if I go the inline 4 route on my next bike. I may just get an Aprilia or used Ducati 998 instead. I'm also a big fan of the RC-51 but it's a heavy bitch. I have ridden all the new literbikes and liked the Honda by far the best. The ZX-10 is just a bit much, and the big Gixxer doesn't handle like it's midsize sibling. The new R-1 puts out power like a 600 till you get above about 8k or so, but the Honda just feels and rides great. I haven't ridden the CBR 600 since I took a buddies F-4 out and got in trouble for grounding hard parts in corners. That huge pipe hanging off the side was a real problem.

I'm definately interested in the new Triumph 675. I want something narrow, light, and reasonably fast. Up here in Oregon, we have tons of twisties, and I can usually stay up with much faster bikes if I'm on something that handles. I could even do OK with a properly setup SV-650.

Decisions Decisions...

The red one is absolutely killing me.

Do they completely re-design CBR's every year now?

Joe R.

dinger most sportbikes get a "makeover" ever three to four years. How deep the changes go however depend on the manufacturer. Honda has made some real positive changes in the 07 CBRs.
