I guess this would have some legitimate LE applications. $4K for the unit - note the video stuff to the left of the doodad.

The name of the manufacturer escapes me, but it's from the same Israeli outfit that brought you the double-barreled AR-15.

There is no substitute for interior barricade training - however, I would imagine this coming in pretty handy in some scenario, I think.

Up periscope! :sarcastic:

I've seen one of these in person.

Unless this is a new version, it still looks like you have to *pump* the gun into position, which blows, but I guess is effective enough for them to market it.

I believe it is called the corner shot, if memory serves. I think its been out for awhile.

It was on CSI:Miami like 8 years ago.

It looks like it would take a lot of training to aim through the screen.

So just so happens I know a distrubutor of these and he let me shoot the thing.

If you think of this just like a breaching shot gun (one per stack) and not a primary or secondary, it has a role.

I find it more capable as an implement in assisting with hallways, stairwells, alleys, and other confined spaces the dog might not be able/want to go.

It takes some getting used to.

None of the neighborhood dogs mess with that cat...

If you could attain any sort of accuracy with it I can see how it could serve a usefull purpose in a unusual circumstance. You have to admit it would be a surprise to catch one from a fake cat head :D

was on top shot a couple of seasons ago.

That cat on top, if real, looks ingenious.

Needs more railz, bro.
No idea what that top rail is for. Seems like they just said "Screw it, throw a rail on top of that thing."

The stuffed animal reminded me of Bruce Willis and the Furry Tom puppet in "The Last Boy Scout".

I think they used it on Top Shot.

It was on Future Weapons. I've played with one. It makes shooting a lot like a video game. The problem is getting a good trigger squeeze since when at a right angle you get horizontal instead of vertical movement.

That's exactly what I was going to say. I remember that episode.
