View Full Version : Like Trijcon HD but with black rears for G19?
I like the front sight of the Trijcon HDs, however I am not a big fan of how the gun essentially turns into a 3 dot sight in low light. I prefer to have black rears.
I have looked into Ameriglo Hacks as it practically look like the same front sight, however I am not too happy about how wide the rear sights are. The rear is .180, and I am more happy with HD's .163 rear.
What are alternative quality black rear sight with a slightly more narrow notch that will match up well without messing up POI/POA on my G19?
Ameriglo makes a plain black rear in .164".
Black out the rear vials.

10-8 Performance rear sight and Trijicon HD front is what your looking for. My glocks gave ameriglo hacks with green PROGLO front sights, I have no issue with the .180 rear sight.
My FS M&P's have ameriglo green PROGLO fronts with 10-8 .156 rear sights.

This. As it provides a very contrasting and clean sight picture. You can get the 10-8s in either a .140 or .156 notch.
Not to change the subject but does anyone know where to buy just the Trijicon HD front sites?

Cheapest and easiest option right here...

Aren't the a ameriglo pro glo's essentially the same as the trijicon hd front? I'm probably wrong though.
I ordered a blacked out 10-8 rear and ameriglo pro glo front for my Shield as I wanted the trijicon hd front but couldn't find it and google-fu told me the pro glo mimicked the hd anyways.
Black sharpie! I used a blue one when I want to diminish the dot but not eliminate entirely.

Trijicon Directly
Brownels has heinie rear sights for $42. Lists as .119 notch though. Not being familiar with notch sizes, wouldn't that be too narrow?

Try blacking them out and if it doesn't work spend some money. I like my rears blacked.
