View Full Version : New Glock 21sf tricked out by Damato

Bought myself a 21sf for Christmas. I was so impressed with the stippling and frame work that Damato did on my 34, that I sent this off to him as well. It came out awesome. Full starburst stippling. I had him remove the finger grooves, undercut and round the trigger guard, reduce the girth of the grip and removed the backstrap. Then had the slide cerakoted in Magpul FDE.

I threw on an extended slide release, Zev Tech extended mag release, Glock minus connector, Surefire X300u, and a set of Ameriglo Cap sights.

Is the G34 factory FDE?

If it is, how well does the Cerakote Magpul FDE color match the Glock factory FDE frame? I can't tell from the pic.

I want to get a G20 FDE and have the slide Cerakoted to perfectly match in ALL types of indoor/outdoor lighting. Any recommendations?

The 34 has the frame cerakoted in magpul fde. As far as the closest color to the factory fde, I think patriot brown cerakote is the closest.

Those look great! Is the trigger guard reinforced with steel where it meets the grip like other parts of the frame? If not is there any concern that you might break the trigger guard?

I don't think it is reinforced, however I try and push on the thinnest part with all my might and it doesn't even budge. It would take a nasty slam with a hammer or something to break it I think

Looks great!

If it is a SHTF pistol, I would replace the extended mag release and slide release with the stock units.

Are there any issues with the magazine release and holsters? That thing is kinda excessive IMO

I don't holster it. Nightstand gun, however if I were to get a holster I would get whatever the Zev tech shooters use, seeing as they also use these mag releases.
