I had a little time off of work today, so I took my EDC G17 to the range for a little slow-fire lovin'. This was my first shot at 25 yards.

I've been shooting since I was five years old and I've never done this before. At this rate, I should sink another one like this around my 104th birthday.

Yes, I stopped on the way home and bought PowerBall tickets.

If that was my first shot, It'd also be my last for the day. Great job!

Did you get a ruler and measure that shot? that hole looks pretty damn close to being dead center...

Nice shot dude. How were the rest?

I can shoot that good all the time...it's just getting the powder burns off the targets before I can post pics that gets me!

Heck of a nice shot! The best I have had is 2 "eyes" on a head box from retention during a IDPA match. Kept thinking how any higher and I'd have been down 10 and a failure LOL.

Nice!

A couple months back I was setting up some steel targets with some buddies and as we got back to the firing position I was joking about hitting the 2/3's IPSC plate at 200yds with my USP9. Of course, my friend gave me shit about not being able to get close to it at this distance. So naturally, I drew, put the gun in single action and sent a round. The "ping" from the target resulted in the "I can't believe that just ****ing happened" look on both of our faces. I doubt I'll ever be able to do that again in this lifetime.

When my son was a teenager, he was shooting a target at 50 feet with a .22 rifle prone/ iron sights. He shot a fly that lit on his target.

I'm pretty sure everyone on this board has the "holy crap, I can't believe I just made that" shot. I have one that I'm still trying to re-create but I'm sure it was a fluke.

Happened to me some time ago in first shot as well. However mine was not so perfectly centered and distance was only 15m (15.6yrd). Shot with HK P2000SK

I took target of and kept it ;)

I'd say it was time to quit and go home...

Crazy shot, but especially so with a stock Glock.

I once threw a dart in the bullseye, then while telling a story of how I saw my Uncle put a dart into the back of a dart in the bull....did the same thing with the next throw!

Exactly! I'd pack it up and go home after that.

Nice shot!

Very nice shot, and yes I would have called it quits to, "You gotta know when hold, them and know when to fold them" kinda thing.

Not to hijack the thread, but we were shooting skeet once when my father-in-law held up his 9mm pistol and said "toss me one out boys" we did and he nailed it and calmly put the pistol back in his truck and sat down, he later admitted to me that was the luckiest thing he had ever done.

Officially speaking, the target was the "NRA Official High Power Rifle Target SR-1 100 Yard Slow and Rapid Fire". I didn't fire any more shots on that target, but I did make some heart-warming groups at 50 yards a few minutes later.

Crazy shot, but especially so with a stock Glock.

This pistol has a Wilson barrel, adjustable sights, an OEM (-) connector, stippling, and a couple of other mods, but none of that matters. This shot would be a fluke with anything.

I just think it's awesome how almost literally the stars aligned for that shot to be just perfect. Everything from the actual projectile to your skill and the gun. Cool picture man.

Out of 2 shots, yes it is a fluke. However, when I was younger the old Bullseye shooters at my gun club used to consistently put 10 rounds in or touching the 10 ring at 25 yrds on a NRA 25yrd slow fire target. This was one handed with accurized 1911's and hand loads. So at least 2 were probably in the same hole;)

Nice shot! I don't think I've ever had one at that range with my 19, hole in one that is!
