Says deaths NOT caused by operational activity.

Container ships can be nasty dangerous places. But I'm sure conspiracy theories are more entertaining.

A cause of death would be a good starting point.

The article linked made no mention of signs of trauma, i.e. they were crushed by a Conex container, etc. It did note that there was no obvious foul play. TWO 44 year old world class athletes in the prime of their lives don't just die in their sleep of natural causes at the same time.

Are there areas on a ship like that where one could succumb to carbon monoxide?

I was on Tridents website earlier, they recently updated stating the losses. No further information will be given at the request of the families.

Hopefully everything will be sorted out. I hope there wasn't any foul play.

That is in the realm of possibilities. I'm not a merchant sailor, but I would think they would have some sort of CO detectors on board along with their fire suppression systems so as to prevent such tragedies.

A ship is a dangerous place to work and anything is possible.

Godspeed to the lost Sailors and God Bless their families.

How convenient. Two former SEALs on contract OD at the same time.

If they miscalculated the strength of the heroin they got, it is plausible. Not sure if it was heroin, just saying it happens.
