Hey there guys. Ive got a question for everyone pertaining to red dot optics.
The question is simple. Should red dots be mounted further from the rear sight or as close to it as possible?
I honestly dont notice a difference in performance or accuracy when i move the mount further up the rail or further back.
I read a long time ago that moving the optic further up the rail is "bad" but i honestly cant for the life of me remember why this is.
EDIT:
Argh, changed my search parameters and found this. Sorry for the repeat topic gents. Mods, you can close and lock this one if you see fit.
