You can see the shim under the FSB, you can also see the machine work that was done on the bolt face and extractor (kind of) This was sticky at first, but shooting took the burrs off. Unfortunately I am no stickman/mfingar
Just erased my entire post, so here we go again.

I started thinking about this before the announcement of S&W upper but after the AA upper. I wanted to shoot 5.45 for classes and buy in bulk - but wanted an AR, as my go to rifles are ARs. My AK is nice, just more of a plinker or loaner.

I knew some people here in TX were messing with barrel blanks and having difficulty keeping the price down and having problems with the combloc round working in an American reamed chamber. I picked up some parts (Thanks Bravo Company for prompt shipping and good prices and great products) and sent them to a smith I had heard of in FL. So I had him thread the barrel for an A2 FH so I could suppress it with my gemtech halo for shooting wolf - non corrosive. He plugged the gas port and shimmed under a "F" FSB so that I could pin it in place. I went with a midlength build due to suppression. I wanted a lightweight kiss build with a light and a sling. I may add a micro dot or aimpoint in the future. I would like to get a CTR for the buttstock too. I had a chance to go blast this weekend and found that I need to upgrade to a wolff power spring to fix my light primer strikes. It was hitting in the general area, but I have not had a chance to BZO or shoot for groups yet. I wanted an AR in this caliber to allow me to shoot in classes and not worry about the cost of ammo or resort to reloads. I have played with all types of mag combinations hk, hk with 6.8 followers ect and am now simply going to wait for Cproducts to release 5.45 mags in the next few weeks. Over all it shoots just like an AR with just a little more recoil.
