So long story short:
Bought a Savage Mark II BV. Came with stock bases. Ordered PRW leupold rings. Do not fit. Go to my local shop. Check other rings. All don't seem to fit well. Go to a local smith. Recommends talking to leupold for new bases. Talk to leupold and buy qrw bases. They dont seem to fit well with the rings nor fit the roundness of the receiver correctly....
Guys...I just want to mount my scope.... :(
Can you please recommend me a base/ring combo that I can purchase along with the proper height calculation, etc??
I was looking around at burris, egw, and seekins. The egw bases look nice...but I don't know which to get...nor rings? Help!
I don't want to keep buying rings/bases that do not work. It really is getting frustrating.
I am a total noob when it comes to this.
