I figured I might as well post here since I'm sure someone here might be able to help me out.

So I have a PSA upper where the taper pins go a bit past where I'm assuming they should.
I used to have an Omega X FSB rail on it and had to grind on the old taper pins and a tiny bit on the FSB to avoid contact with the rail.
After I got tired of that setup I went back to MOE handguards. After I removed the old taper pins I installed new ones.
The problem I'm having is that these new ones seat farther in than the originals.
I bought these from PSA so I assumed they would be similar specs(but I've had issues with them before).
I haven't had to touch the zero on my irons and verified out to 200m.

Does this seem like a major problem to anyone here?
I'm thinking it's just an aesthetics thing but wanted to verify with people who have more experience with this.
I'm trying to decide whether to leave it as is, try taper pins from a more reputable source , or replace it with a lpgb and rail or tube.
I'd greatly appreciate any responses.

Looks fine. I wouldn't worry about it. They are both evenly set. As long as you set them with some force, carry on.
