WTS/T: MBAssociates Mk2 Mod C 12MM Gyrojet
Up for sale is my MBAssociates Mk2 Mod C 12mm Gyrojet pistol made in late 1968 or early 1969
For those that don’t know what it is, it’s a rocket gun! This is a pistol that fired 12mm rockets. Buck Rogers type shit. This particular version was designed to take a shock, forend, and extended barrel kit that was either never produced due to the GCA (rumor has it a very small quantity made it out). This pistol has the flip up front sight to be used with said kit. Flipped down, it’s for pistol, up for rifle
I don’t know if this particular pistol has ever fired a round, but I know I haven’t. Ammo is expensive, so look at this as an investment and a collectible. You could charge admission for people that want to see it, charge to have their pictures taken with, charge to hold it, charge to let them touch you.
This is a low serial numbered pistol, under 250, but then again, very few where made.
I have had some Gyrojet people look it over and they claim it to be in fine working order (but they wouldn’t sell me some ammo).
The factory walnut grips are in beautiful shape. The internals are in excellent condition. There are a couple of small mars in areas where one would associate holsters rub. One is under the barrel. The other on the left side of the slide (see pics).
I cannot verify if this weapon saw service in the US Military, but some were in action in Vietnam with MACV-SOG.
