Playing around on internet I found a refurbished pro that costs the same as a new one from the same company. Searched around but can't find even info on why they are considered to be the same value. Refurbished or not it is still used. Any ideas?

Maybe to attract uninformed buyers trying to save a few bucks. The street price for a new PRO from an authorized seller has been $408 forever. GH
I'm actually surprised that this company would advertise a "used" for the price of a factory new one. They are a pretty decent company with a very pro gun stance and usually they are priced right in line with all the others.
ETA: I would bet that is a mispriced ad, especially since they list the new one for the same price. http://www.midwayusa.com/find?userSearchQuery=aimpoint+pro

That is not always true.
It might not have made it out of the factory due to some defect. And then redone, so now refurbished.
Even so , it should be less money. ( alot less )

Guess thats possible. I figured if one didn't meet QC it just got fixed and was still sold as new (I have nothing to base that on, just an assumption).
Sent email asking.
I did the same when I came across the ad. I even 'reported' the listing as incorrect. Still no word.

Lots of times factory refurb just means it was returned, etc and can be in brand new condition. But, I'd expect it to be well below that price for a refurb.

They said they are having website issues on this product. :stop:
