Anybody know where I can get a shorter stock for my benelli m3?
Im medium build. though I can handle the benelli, it would be easier with a shorter stock.
Good luck! The only replacement option currently is the speedfeed youth stocks which are pretty cheap compared to the factory stock. Others have resorted to cutting down their factory stocks. I am contemplating cutting mine down, but it is an awful lot of work. Here is a link to a thread that FlyFishDave posted on how-to: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=13652

hmm.. i would be happier with the rifle stock not a pistol grip one.
I hacked up a TAC IV-S for the M1, to fit on my M4. It's not as pretty as the factory stock, but IMHO, it's worlds better. And that's what really matters.

id prefer the ones without the pistol grip
I had been planning for the longest to do the Ned style shortening job explained in detail in FlyFishDave's thread, but I have only found the time to cut the stock down to the desired length. I have not found the time to fabricate the insert. So for now, I simply added a Sims Limbsaver slip-on recoil pad #10546 (Size SMALL) from Brownell's, along with some 100mph tape. The length feels perfect now with the pad installed, but I have not had the chance to shoot it yet, so I dont know how well the slip-on pad will hold up. Here's some pics:

I currently have a benelli m3 all I really need is to cut 1/2 inch of the stock and it would be perfect. Does anybody know if using fiberglass to make screw bases would work? I don't like the idea of stuffing a wood filler then screwing it in place.

Ned used to use G10. You could use wood, thick Lexan or G10/Micarta and epoxy it in.

what about fiberglass? will it stick to the plastic? I have easy access to fiberglass since I use it in the business.
