Ha this song has been stuck in my head since last night. Do NOT listen to it more than once. There's some sort of Japanese wizardry going on in there. First you kinda laugh...then you hit replay and don't really know why...next thing you know you're downloading the album and wearing a plaid skirt.

So the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force gave a speech today in which I was in attendance... all I can remember was this stupid chocolate song going through my head.

ENOUGH! The gods of metal are not pleased.

Retribution must be swift.

I give to you the students of Aaron Okeefe . . .

I didn't realize I had an itch that needed scratched at all...but apparently I did. I think it's thoroughly scratched though...still trying to figure out just what happened, and why I liked it.

Moose Knuckle...those kids were very talented but I like this version the very best. FYI Spun happens to be one of the craziest movies I've ever seen...and a hell of a better campaign against amphetamine usage than the government ever came up with. Mickey Rourke is hard to beat when he's in his element.

Never cared much for metal of any kind but I have to say these kiddos have got some talent.

This thread needs more ZAO, or Through The Eyes of the Dead.

I followed ZAO when I was in high school. I helped a good friend of mine's band get signed to the same label that got ZAO going, two bands actually.

All jokes and weird looks aside...from the vids, they are getting packed arenas. Just sayin'.

Wish Disney would do some metal for once.

I think here in America we limit what kids should do of what they can do. It causes them to be subsistant to authority and curbs their critical thinking and artistic side way too much due to not branching out on their own.

Here is another from Aaron Okeefe's students.

I've listened to that song a couple times now. Not half bad to be honest.

That 46 and 2 cover is ****ing legit though.

And I know TOS isn't very cool here, but I love the Sunday morning metal threads over there.

A thread about death metal, and only one actual dm band mentioned (and a mediocre one at that).

Let's change that.

New album this year allegedly. Hopefully it's good, but I'm partial to the first two albums.

If the Bjorler Bros are back, it will be glorious.

"Slaughter of the Soul" is the greatest album in the history of metal.

And...I realized that I don't actually like metal. The vocals always kill it for me...I think it's why I enjoyed the song in the OP so much.

I can explain it all with two words..."It's Japan."

Had to do several helpings of Kraftwerk, Information Society and a little Sam and Dave to get that nonsense out of my head.

Hell yeah!

Dark Tranquility's "The Gallery" and In Flames "The Jester Race" are up there too as is Children of Bodom's "Follow the Reaper".
