It's all good when you live somewhere warm... which I don't :D More my speed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeQP-H_31JQ&list=UUpqEZ4A0gYj8-r_E1m_1lUg

I was excited that this may be a cheap option, but it looks like its a $100,000 aircraft. Might as well buy a used Cessna.

AK, how do you guys put up with the snow?!?!? Move man!

This is one of those "Here, hold my beer" type of moments.... But still fun :D

As far as the air cam, it looks like fun if I lived near the south tip of Florida with some amphibs, but I can't see myself wanting one for a long time. I would rather have a super cub on floats and do the same thing for about twice as much.

I have a fair amount of time in an open Quicksilver MX in the winter in Minnesota. It's no different than snowmobiling, except the speeds are slower.

How do you handle the heat? I'm a man of the sub-arctic. It's what I am and I can't change that. Snow is no issue to me and neither is cold. The wilds of Alaska hold my soul and I share that with my family and friends. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States. 45 states so far. Not once have I been tempted to live anywhere else.

To stay on topic. There are few places that provide the beauty and freedom for flying as Alaska does.
