This was a big deal around here. Republicans held this seat for 40+ years but the same district voted for Obama twice. The Democratic contender for the House seat was a former gubernatorial candidate in 2010. (She won this district in that race too)
So far the race has been called, but I would expect a recount with it being this close.
Feels good to finally see some good news.
Good to see, especially with the Libertarian guy pulling almost 5% of the vote as well. He could have Perot'd it...
ACA (Obamacare) will be a big issue as Seniors start to figure out they were screwed by AARP.
Is this guy considered a "TEA Party Republican" or just a run of the mill Republican?

No, he's no RINO or tea partier. He's a typical Republican. Very pro gun though!
Jolly won by 1.8%...no recount. FL recounts are triggered by a margin of victory <0.5%.
Alex Sink sucks and so does* her husband.
*ETA: Just read that he died in '12.
