Where to buy S&W 340 CT?

Hey guys, does anyone know where I can get my hands on a 340 CT? It looks like everyone is out of stock and the guy at the shop told me that Smith is way behind on their revolvers. Does anyone know what the deal is? Thanks for any answers.

Good luck buddy. The only place I could find a 340 was on gunbroker (last week). By the time shipping and transfer come into play I almost payed MSRP, but currently there is such limited availability that you are going to pay a premium.

I found a near new 340pd with XS sights at sitting at a Cabelas for 399.99. I shat my pants, then bought it. It sports desantis waistband grips now, but soon to be Crimson Trace Greens. If you have a chance to stop in a Cabelas, have them check their system for used 340s, it worked out great for me.

Found one at Gander's "Gun World" today (well, different variants of the 340). They wanted anywhere from 800-almost 1100 for them, sans CT grips.

I certainly wasn't willing to pay that premium. I bought a 442, no lock, and lots of accessories instead. But, if you're dead set on finding a 340, I'd give your local Gander/Gun World a call.

I ordered mine from Michigan Police Equipment here in Lansing Michigan. It took about six weeks to get it in. This was when they first came out. M&P 340CT around $850 I think.

It was, I worked there for some time before going LE so it was all about deal hunting everyday.
