I am looking for other AR15 and firearm sites that are in the same league as this one. M4C is my favorite so I was wondering if the folks here might know of some other best sites.

This is it.... Weaponevolution.com isn't too bad, but gets less traffic. ARFcom is a retard magnet policed by imbecile STAFF members who give the Ban to anyone not posting retardation. No Joke. I've gone there multiple times and posted like a Saint; and got banned because my replies were legit in the tech forums. Those retards disable the account without saying anything. It's somewhat fascinating from a sociological standpoint. Wolves protecting the herd of retards.

Maybe if you would try to sugar coat your responses like you did in this one they would not get so upset?

I have a local forum, okshooters, thats the only other one I really look at.

And now, a few words from our sponsors.....

Gent's, let's not let this wander into an Interweb pie-fight about other places. I'm not looking about with furious glances here, just nudging us all gently back on track. I much appreciate everybody's cooperation with this.

I do know there are some good reloading forums out there. markm, is there one you think is pretty good on data for AR or pistol reloading? It's something I'm starting to read up on.

I visit ar15news.com on rare occasions but they are a little too "every company is great" like some magazines. thetruthaboutguns.com has stuff about ARs on occasion but have become a little more activist than review site. thefirearmblog.com has AR stuff alot and also has little articles about collectors and antique firearms but they don't have a large amount of daily posts. Youtube is a whole other story. Military Arms Channel, sootch00, Iraqveteran8888, and someone who posts here frequently Mrgunsngear. That's all I can think of right now.

I enjoy the Forgotten Weapons blog and Youtube channel. The older stuff isn't as practical in the modern world as an Aimpoint equipped AR and a Glock, but it's often more interesting. As far as actual forums go, this is the only one I really frequent.

I also read the 15-22 sub forum at smith-wessonforum.com, since I have a 15-22. It's a good source of information for that rifle.
Of course, if you don't have a 15-22, you might find it less than useful.

I find it harder and harder to find forums that have technical discussions where I am actually interested AND learning something new. Most times it is just easier to call Vickers or Hackathorn and have them rattle off some obscure firearms history lesson that I have never heard before. :)

I've tried to register for 300 BLKTALK several times. They won't let you register with a gmail account for some reason. I've even tried emailing the contact email but never get any response back. So I just kind of ignore that one. Same thing with Glock Talk.

ETA: Apparently I signed up for an AOL account just so I could sign up for 300 blktalk. I just signed in and it worked. Forgot all about that.

As far as site's I do use:

Screw that. A couple of years ago I had a G19 that was acting up. I went there to seek help diagnosing the issue and was almost crucified for implying that my Glock was anything less than "perfection". Bunch of blind fan boys, like arfcom for Glocks.

As far as AR tech info, this is the place.

I also lurk at snipershide and pistol-training. My level of technical expertise is not up where I am actively contributing very often.

I do frequent defensivecarry.com, it's not a AR forum or any other model/make clubhouse but there are quite a few very knowledgeable members in every area there. I see it as more of a social site where I can kibitz with like minded folk and not worry that I am not the most up to date technical guru. The guys/gals there who know their ARs are all probably members here as well.

I am relatively new in in Jacksonville, Fl. since being stationed here in the late 80's. Perhaps more time posting to meet up and shoot up would suffice. I have a tremendous amount of respect to those that are the "gtg" guys that keep it real.

Is this a 'trick' question or something?...Obviously m4carbine.net for M4/AR15's! Plus there's a lot of other weapons knowledge here too. I really do wish I had more time to log on to M4C.net daily just to post and play and learn all day, but work and family do keep me way too busy for that. Plus any free time IS going to be spent actually in the field w/live fire training w/my family when I can... I know for the 'lucky' few here it's 'bread and butter' which I can respect and see as awesome!...actually this site 'M4C' is so freaking good I've never had to go too far spending hours upon hour looking here and posting there and asking Q's & A's searching around waiting for that elusive answer... which usually will be found with just a quick click of that "search & destroy" button! No muss no fuss, you gotta love that!!
Sites like bARF.com is not for me and is full of too many AR "punks" - who are obviously barely legal mall ninja's warriors wanna bees who have probably never spent enuff time behind the trigger of any weapon let alone an AR15/M4 that don't know jack sh*t about it anyway.
Again, here you have mod's and many trusted members with the "real world" knowledge and experience of these fine U.S. made weapons and accessories! That's all I need!
