Surefire x300/tlr1 at 12:00

I currently have a tlr1, and was thinking of picking up a x300 and keep the streamlight as a backup. I was thinking of using it both on a handgun and long gun. My question is for those who are mounting them at 12:00, are you having issues with negligent discharge of the light and if so what have you done to mitigate that. Personally I would not want to use a tape switch.
