View Full Version : Battlefield 4 on PC
Anyone else play?
Skhmt on Origin/battlelog.
I try to play a couple times a week... I generally fly around in rotary wing aircraft or sit in a tank or aa vehicle to hunt down snipers with my thermal optics and machine guns. Good times.
Never been a battlefield fan. titian fall on the other hand.....

I'm a battlefield 4 fan, and usually end up playing a bunch when I need to stay up late before a set of nightshifts...it works perfect to stay up until the wee hours of the morning without getting all caffeined up. I'm terrible with anything that flies in the game and not that great with the ground vehicles either, I like being either a combat medic or an anti-vehicle engineer. Unfortunately I play on xbox 360, so we wouldn't be able to link up to put the hurt on some tweens ;)

Waiting for the new Metal Gear.
I love BF, but still have a PS3 and BF4 looks pretty rough on the earlier systems. Plus I don't have wifi where I am right now. I gave up on pc gaming years ago.

I don't get the appeal of Titanfall.
It seems like Crysis 3 with more mechs and AI, but not as MAXIMUM.
I haven't gotten over how robbed I felt with the DLC Content rollout EA urinal dueced onto BF3.
Then don't venture into the suck fest which is bf4. The hit registry is horrible still. But they do have time to dev. 2-handed riot shields...

What annoys me the most out of EVERYTHING in BF4 is that weapons aren't properly zero'd. Yes there is bullet drop, but everything but sniper rifles are literally zero'd at 0 meters, so there is never a hold-under.
I'm also annoyed that bullets move at like 1/4 the speed they should move and weapons of the same caliber and roughly the same barrel length do different damage. A sniper rifle in 7.62x54mm does more than twice the damage per shot than a M240B firing the same caliber and AFAIK, the same round.
And I'm annoyed that suppressors increase bullet drop (they're assuming subsonic rounds... which is full retard) and heavy barrels increase muzzle rise ("match" ammo supposedly increases recoil more than a heavy barrel compensates for it). Wtf over?!

I agree,,there is tons of shit wrong with the game,,but I still play it !! After all its a game,,so I just suck it up and move one,,,I mite be screaming & hollering at my monitor,,but I still like it !! One of my main shooting buddies plays and we have a blast with it !! I play on my PC exclusively, never got into the Xbox/Playstation thing ! I have 3 or 4 main Servers I play on,,Mappers United is the main one,,good guys,,good rules & they don't put up with any bull crap !! I use pretty much my same Name as here.

I have never been into Multiplayer FPS till Titanfall. I have had credits on my EA account for ages waiting to be used and they got put to good use here.
The parkour, the titans, all of it. There is nothing like running along a wall. Jumping to another wall. Then jumping to rodeo a titan and killing it.

Agreed! I'm having a hard time getting back into COD after playing Titanfall.

All this is true, but it's still light years ahead of COD...nothing like being headshotted across the goddamn map by some 12 year old dual wielding Sawed-off Winchester 1887's while in mid-jump moving sideways at full speed
