Trying to gauge interest.
The one in the photo is a one-off prototype.

I think as more people are driven to the AK platform because of ammo cost. Platforms are becoming better, like Arsenal, Rifle Dynamics, and other builders. There could be some interest in quality mounting options. Quality products are always going to sell.

I think you are right. This is why I asked: http://www.akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180741

Looks like some dialed in kit. I would like to see some hard users of the AK chime in after they beat it up through a class or two.

Here is a review of the RS mount: http://www.theakforum.net/forums/22-optics-accessories/155356-side-rails-suck-rs-regulate-300-series-side-mount-review.html

It's been through much tougher testing then even we had planned for. Recently it was tested for loss of zero by strapping to the back of a SMAW tube and having 12 rockets shot through the launcher. The optic on the SMAW lost zero, but the AK-300 didn't. I'll be honest and say we didn't "package protect" for that type of abuse during design and testing, but it didn't skip a beat.

I have a horse in this race - but I let others do the product talking. Every review you will see has been positive.
100% RTZ, thinnest and lightest and only modular side mount, capable of gross windage adjustments so that your optic is directly over-bore of any AK with a side rail.

I prefer the side rail on the Kalashnikov rifle....I use the RS mount with a micro on my everyday shooter. Good repeat, light, and strong. It changed a rifle I liked to shoot into one I love to shoot.:)
