I have been trying for several weeks to find a new Colt LE6920. It seems they are sold out everywhere. I’ve found a few for sale online, but I want to find a new one and I’m unsure how to establish any credibility with any of these online dealers. A local dealer has one held for me with one of its distributers, but the distributer is unsure when their order will be filled by Colt. The other day, I asked another dealer if he knew what the holdup was and he blamed a lot of Colt’s problems on union labor delaying the fulfillment of orders. Does anyone know what the holdup is with Colt getting these rifles to market? Has anyone heard when they might be shipping 6920s to fill the demand? Whatever the delay, I wish I knew more about what’s happening with Colt. Should I wait for the 6920 (a rifle I know is a good one) or decide on another AR15 brand?
Any advice or information will be greatly appreciated. –Thanks.

How about an LMT....thats what my next carbine will be. If you are willing to pay for a 6920 then how about a Noveske N4.

Per our Colt rep a few weeks ago. Colt will finish it's current run of military guns next month and then start a production run of 6920's and other non military models. Unsure when the first batch will get to retailers, but probably not before sometime in July.

My dealer says Colt won't be shipping until around the end of June/ beginning of July. He's pretty much always right.

Oh, really? Didn't know. No wonder Glock and Colt are both so far behind. :D

Any guarantee they have them in stock? I see no indication either way.

Check G&R. Grant has them for $1400.00 or call Clyde Armory and get on their waiting list for much cheaper.
