good quality reasonable cost red or green laser for AR?

Hi guys, looking for opinions on a good laser for an AR with a continuous top rail .. I want it mounted on the top rail and obviously to clear the BUIS. Night vision or IR capability not needed, just a simple red or green visible laser. I'm just using for fun really, so not looking for the absolute best (and costliest) in the world, but the rifle its going on is all quality components so I want something quality. Any suggestions up to around $500? I tried searching but didn't find much.

Try a Surefire X400 or a Streamlight TLR-2.
ETA you didn't mention having a white light, so these would kill two birds...
