View Full Version : Question on Ameriglo I-Dot Pro rear sight profiles...

I want to get an Ameriglo I-Dot Pro sight set with the orange front sight for one of my Glock 19's. I noticed that there seems to be two types of profiles for the rear sights. I much prefer the rear sight profile of number 2. How can I make sure the set I order will have this rear sight profile?

not sure.. thought they all came like #2.

btw GET THE YELLOW/GREEN. do not get the orange. yellow/green SO much better

I believe they all come like #2 now. I don't think they make the #1 profile anymore.

I also agree with BioLayne to get the yellow front because it has the Photoluminous paint on it. The orange ones don't. I thought they did when I ordered my two sets of Spartan Tactical. Still nice sights though.

I'm planing to order a custom set with the the ProGlo front with yellow Pro Operator rear for another one of my Glocks.

I run the orange "ProGlo" front, yellow Pro Operator rear on my G19 and the lime front, yellow Pro i-Dot rear on my G26 (mine are like pic #2). I prefer the Lime front but against foliage it does wash out some. For concealed carry I do prefer the shape of the Pro Operator rear, less to snag. YMMV

Just so I get the correct sights, what was the model number of the sights you ordered with newer rear sight profile?

don't be bashful. highly suggest you call up ameriglo. they are super helpful for this kind of stuff. they usually answer within 3 rings.

Thanks for the model info! The reason I asked is because when I was looking at the different models I would see different images that showed both of the rear sights. It sounds like they might have switched over to second rear sight for all the I-Dot Pro sights.
