I am still fighting with my 300-221 build.
What would happen if I put my H2 buffer in my A2 stock lower?

I have an adjustable gas port;
I am shooting subsonics that don't push the bolt back all the way on the last round.
I am shooting supersonic rounds (with the same gas setting) that dent the brass a little.

Unless you have a spacer to make up for the difference in the buffer length and a proper Rifle length spring, don't do it.

The rear of the gas key will strike the bridge on the lower reciever and possibly destroy it. It will certainly damage it.

Thank you,
I didn't think about the over travel.
