these look extremely light and thin. anyone have experience with them?

I acquired these a while ago for side plates. they're very very light, extremely thin. they compliment my bfg lmac very well. they fit a little loose as the side plate pockets are meant to accommodate plates of various makes, and these plates have to be on the very thinnest end of that spectrum. the gear that is on the side plate pockets is held very well. donning and doffing the bfg lmac is a little involved if anyone has ever had experience with the system's elastic cummerbund which pass through the side plate pocket. but the vtg phantom spt plates make the process easy, they're light and rigid so opening up the side Velcro becomes easy. I highly recommend these plates if you don't need level 4 protection in your side plate pockets.
