Colt 6721 Price Check

I am intersted in buying a Colt 6721. I have found one than is un-fired from an individual. He is asking $ 1250.00 for the gun shipped to my FFL. Is this a good buy?

Yup. I paid $1229 for a 6920 last November when they were readily available. You can get in line for a 6721 at Clyde right now for $1,219. When they will be available for shipment, who knows. Rumor here puts that sometime in July. Maybe. So, $1,250 for one sometime this week sounds real good!

I missed the first time I responded that this was not a Face to face purchase.

$1250 to your FFL plus a fee paid by you to your FFL the handling on the sale?

This is on a sight unseen 6721 from a complete stranger?



I would say if he has the original box, that's a good sign.

Ask if he's the original purchaser of the 6721.

Look the gun over before handing over cash. - I now realize you can't do this.

If it's a complete stranger I would maybe consider purcahsing one (albeit at a higher price) from a reputable dealer on one of the gun auction sites where at least you have something to go on in terms of credibility/honesty from the person's feedback from buyers.
