Going another route.
I removed the M203 forward mounting hardware (as it is of no use to 99% of us). I also drilled the lower rail is drilled for a KAC bipod stud to mount a Harris bipod close to the rail for a lower profile. Complete rail system (except for the M203 hardware mentioned above), wrench, and MI QD sling mount
