1.75" belt vs 2" belt for HSGI padded battle belt sleeve?

Right now I'm running a 1.75", but I've slimmed down quite a bit and need to buy a new belt. I'm wondering if a 2" belt would be beneficial, or would it be more of a hindrance? Anybody have experience with a battle belt setup using a 2" belt?

I don't think you'll be able to tell a difference. The buckle will be a tad taller, if you can feel that. I'd stick with 1.75" since it's lighter and would fit through more pants' belt loops if worn by itself.
