GLOCK 42 vs GLOCK 26 size comparison

I took these awhile ago and meant to post them sooner. When I picked up my 42 I wanted to be able to show people how big it was compared to other GLOCKs and figured the 26 was the closest in size. I've posted elsewhere on here a small range report but to recap...I've got about 250rds through the 42 so far with no issues other than occasionally while using the slide release with Hornady CD it hangs up when clambering a round. Doesn't do it with the sling shot method and runs just fine with it to. It's so easy to get fist size groups out to 15yds+ compared to an LCP.

Thank you for posting those.

I had been thinking about trying to find one somewhere to try out but I wasn't sure how much smaller it was than the G26. My wife likes the G26 for occasional purse carry but usually comments that she wishes that she had something a little smaller and lighter that was still a Glock.

Well, looks like I have her a birthday present.:o

I might even play with it a little myself in a pocket holster just for giggles.

You did a great job with that. I carry a 26 a lot and that series of pictures surprised me for the thinness of the 42.
