Surefire X400 Green laser Review

I finally received the two X400 GN I ordered a while back and I'm not disappointed in the long wait. First off Surefire in the first batch made the original 505nm which is a blueish green. They also made a few in 515nm which is the bightest green your eyes can see. I was lucky and received one of each.

The LED is 500 lumens OTF. The LED has fantastic spill and still maintains a hot spot. Back to the green lasers. I myself like the cyan 505nm laser. Its bright as hell but you dont get the splatter you get from the 515nm. The 515nm hurts my eyes even when I look at it on a dark wall. If it was shined on somwone wearing a white shirt it would be too bright.

As with all Surefire WL it is top notch built like a tank.

I'll post some screen shots when the weather is nice with the difference in color of the beams

The X400 listed on their site now says it comes with the 505nm laser.

The issue with green lasers has always been with the cold.

Stick it in the freezer overnight and report back! ;)

I live in Tx so the cold freezing temp won't be an issue. Yeah it does say 505nm but I have two which I got directly from surefire one saying 515nm. If you look at the pics I posted look on the side of the light and you'll see it.
